Ingredients

  • 250 gmsNylon poha
  • 1/2 cuppeanuts
  • 1/2 cupdalia (roasted bengal gram)
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspdry corriender
  • 1 tbsp.Fennal seeds
  • 1 tsp.Asafoetida
  • 2 pc.Onion
  • 1/4 cupcurry patta / curry leaves
  • 4-5 tbsp.Oil
  • 6-7 pc.Green chilli
  • 1/2 cupdry coconut slited
  • 1/4 cupsesame seeds
  • 1 tbspsugar powder
  • For chana:-
  • 1 cupboil deshi chana / black chickpeas
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp.Oil
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 pc.Onion
  • 1 pctomato
  • 1 tbsp.Besan / gram flour
  • 1/4 tspasofoetida
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tsp.dry corriender cumin powder
  • as neededGarnish with sev
  • as neededPeanut
  • as required Coconut slit
  • 2 tbspRoasted peanut

Steps

  1. 1

    Roast poha on slow flame for 3-4min and take in a paraat.Soak chana for 6-7 hrs and boil add salt and 1tsp oil and make 7-8 whistle

    Now heat oil add chopped onion asofoetida salt and saute. till it looks transparent add chopped tomato, besan saute properly add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dry coriander, cumin powder,salt, boiled chana saute for a min. And add 2 glass of water cover and cook on a mid. slow flame lastly add garam masala.cook for 10 min on slow flame to enhance taste. And serve with chevda.

    Now heat oil in big pan. Fry peanut, dalia and curry patta.take out in a plate.Add crushed dry coriander fennel seeds. And saute add sesame seeds onion slices and slited green chilli, dry coconut slit fry till turns black like birasta on slow flame for crunch. Add turmeric powder.and salt.

    Now add roasted poha,peanuts,dalia and curry patta. Mix properly. Add garam masala and stir continuosly. All ingredients should resemble with each other and poha cook properly.. Lastly add sugar powder and turn off the flame.

    Serve chivda chop onion and coriander serve. Delicious tasty chivdo chana is ready to serve.Add chana with gravy in chivda and and'joy 👍💖tasty tasty dish.
