Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoonsground pork
  • 5peeled white shrimp
  • garlic
  • cilantro roots
  • daikon radish
  • fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoonoyster sauce
  • ground white pepper
  • whole white peppercorns
  • cubebouillon
  • green onions
  • 1egg (use only the yolk)

Steps

    Make the broth first. It's simple: combine white pepper, cilantro roots, a little fish sauce, garlic, and daikon radish. Boil together and skim off any foam.

    For the filling, prepare as follows: mix ground pork with chopped green onions, add the egg yolk (no egg white needed), 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, and 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce, and ground white pepper.

    Let's make the dumplings: 1. Place a wonton wrapper down. 2. Add a suitable amount of filling, including shrimp and ground pork. 3. Dab water around the edges of the wrapper. 4. Place another wrapper on top and seal using water.
