Steps for preparing red sauce:-

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan.

Add 2 cups chopped red bell peppers,2 cups diced tomatoes, 1 tsp each of pepper powder & salt.

Cover & cook for 20-25 mins on low-medium heat, stirring once in between.

Add 1/2 tsp each of onion & garlic powders, 4-5 fresh basil leaves, cook for 3-4 mins, cool and blend the sauce into smooth consistency.

Transfer the ready sauce into a bowl, set aside.

Boil 500 ml water, add 1 tsp salt, 2 cups pasta, cook for 8-10 mins.

Pasta is done, reserve 2-4 tbsp of pasta water for later use.

Drain cooked pasta, add 1 tsp olive oil and keep aside.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in another pan, add 2 tsp minced garlic and saute for few seconds.

Add 1/4 cup each of yellow & green peppers, saute for a few mins.

Add 1/2 cup ready red sauce.

Add the cooked pasta, 1 tsp each of dried oregano,parsley,pepper powder and salt,toss till the pasta gets well coated with the sauce.

Add the reserved pasta water, mix well, take off heat.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves, serve hot.
