The smell of freshly baking bread is absolute bliss. This focaccia was made using one dough recipe but split into 2 versions, 1.) topped with herbs, feta and olives and baked thin and crispy. 2.) topped with herbs and olives but baked thicker and softer. Both had sprinklings of salt.

Ingredients

2 large sized focaccia disks
  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. 2 tablespoonsnido milk powder
  3. 1 tablespoonsugar
  4. 1 packetyeast
  5. 1 tspsalt
  6. 3 tablespoonsoil
  7. 1/2 cupwarm milk
  8. 1/2 cupwarm water more or less

Cooking Instructions

    Place all the dry ingredients (flour, nido milk powder, sugar, yeast, salt) in a bowl.

    Add in the oil and rub in.

  3. 3

    Make a soft dough with milk and enough water. Allow to rise and punch down. Roll out to desired thickness and place on a greased tray.

    Allow to rest for 10-15 min. Brush with olive oil or melted garlic butter, sprinkle dried herbs and fine salt and press olives and feta cheese into the dough. Bake at 180 degrees for 10-15 min or longer for a crispier texture
