Ingredients

  1. 2 cupscoconut (grated or powder)
  2. 1 tablespoonghee
  3. 1 cupsugar
  4. 1/2 cupmilk
  5. 1/2 tbspcardamom powder / Elaichi powder
  6. as neededAlmonds for garnish (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly take a kadhai or pan and heat it on low flame. Now add Ghee.

    Now add grated coconut into it and fry for 2min on medium flame.

  3. 3

    Add milk & sugar and mix well until sugar dissolves completely on medium flame.

  4. 4

    Keep stirring till it starts to thicken. (the mixture must be still little moist.)

    Now add cardamom powder. Stir continuously. It starts lightly changing the colour. Now switch off the flame.

    Transfer the mixture into a plate. Do not let the mixture cool completely.

    When it comes down to warm temperature take small portions of the mixture and give it shape as u want. (roll or flat)

    Garnish it with Almonds. You can store it in refrigerator upto a week.
