Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsregular idli batter made from dal and idli and sooji
  2. 1 cupchopped tomatoes
  3. 1boiled,chopped beetroot
  4. 2red dry chillies
  5. As requiredSalt
  6. As requiredOil for greasing

Cooking Instructions

    First we chop tomatoes and beetroot, and make puree in mixer

  2. 2

    We make fine paste from beetroot, tomato and red chilli now mix in ready idli batter by adding salt.

    Meanwhile heat steamer with enough water, now grease idli moulds and gently mix the batter and take half ladle of batter pour it in idly moulds

  4. 4

    Steam idly for 20 minutes on medium heat, after it gets cooked use spatula to remove from moulds and serve hot with chutney.
