Ingredients

4 persons
  1. 500 gramfresh spinach
  2. 1/2 cupsplit mung bean (mung dal)
  3. 1 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1 tbspred chilli powder
  5. 1 tbspdhaniya jeera powder
  6. Pinchasafoetida
  7. 1 tbspoil
  8. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Wash & soak mung dal & wash spinach leaves & chop it.

  2. 2

    Heat oil, add asafoetida and then spinach & dal.

  3. 3

    Mix well, after few minutes, add salt and rest of masala,mix well and let it cook on slow flame, till mung dal properly cooked. Cover vessel half with lid.

  4. 4

    If you wish,you can add garlic and tomato when cooked, then keep gas on for few minutes then turn off gas and serve hot.
