Ingredients

  1. 2 cupschana daal soaked for atleast half an hour
  2. 1onion
  3. 2tomatoes
  4. 2-3green chillies
  5. 3-4 clovesgarlic
  6. 2 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1 tspchaat masala
  9. 1 tsproasted and grinded corriander zeera and red chilli
  10. 1 tspcorriander powder
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. Oil
  13. Fresh dhania
  14. For tadka:
  15. Ghee
  16. 1 tspzeera
  17. 2-3 clovesgarlic
  18. 5-6button red chilli

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the daal with turmeric and 2 tbs oil

  2. 2

    In pot add garlic and zeera fry for a minute add onion and fry until translucent. Add tomatoes and all the spices except roaste masala and chaat masala

  3. 3

    Cover the lid and cook until tomatoes softened. Then bhonify until oil separates. Add little water and boil daal in it.sprinkle roasted masala,chaat madala dhania and let it simmer.

  4. 4

    Give tadka of garlic, zeera and red chilli.
