Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupSemilona
  2. 1/2 cupCurd
  3. 1Cucumber
  4. 1 teaspoonMint-coriander chutney
  5. 1 tablespoonCoconut (grated)
  6. 1 teaspoonlemon juice
  7. 1/2 teaspoonChaat masala
  8. To tasteSalt
  9. 1/4 teaspoonCrushed pepper
  10. 1-2Dry red chilli
  11. 1/4 teaspoonBlack mustard seeds
  12. 1 pinchAsafoetida
  13. As requiredOil

Cooking Instructions

15-20 minutes

    Grate cucumber and squeeze water from it.

    In a bowl take 1/4 cup of curd, coconut, salt, pepper and lemon juice.

    Now add cucumber, mint-coriander chutney and chaat masala in it and mix it well.

    Now add semolina and rest curd in this mixture and mix it well.

  5. 5

    Now heat oil in a pan, add asafoetida, dried red chillies and black mustard in it and allow it to crackle.

  6. 6

    Now pour semolina mixture over the tempering as per you requirement and cook it well from both the sides.

    Now serve this cucumber handvo with mint-coriander chutney.
