Ingredients

  1. 500 gWhole Squid *cleaned
  2. 1 cloveGarlic *grated
  3. 1small piece Ginger *grated
  4. 1/4-1/2 teaspoonSalt
  5. 1/4 teaspoonGround Black Pepper
  6. 1/2 cup‘Panko’ Bread Crumbs
  7. 1/4 teaspoonGround Chilli *optional
  8. 1 tablespoonOlive Oil *plus extra to oil a baking dish

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven 250°C.

  2. 2

    Squid and cut into 1cm thick rings. add Garlic, Ginger, Salt, Black Pepper and Chilli, massage well, and set aside.

    In a separate bowl, combine ‘Panko’ Bread Crumbs and Olive Oil, mix well. add Squid pieces to the ‘Panko’ mixture

    Spread evenly in a single layer if possible, and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
