Ingredients

  • 2 lbsground deer meat
  • 1Large onion
  • 4 tbspCumin
  • 4 tbspbrown sugar
  • 1 tsppaprika
  • 4 tbspchilli powder
  • 4 tbsponion powder
  • 4 clovesminced garlic
  • 16 ozpinto beans
  • 16 ozkidney beans
  • 8 oztomato puree
  • 16 ozdices tomatos
  • 4 tbspsalt
  • 4 cupsbeef stock

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak pinto beans for at least an hour in water

  2. 2

    Saute onions in some olive oil, add meat and brown

  3. 3

    Add all spices and mix

  4. 4

    Add beef stock, tomato puree, diced tomatoes and all beans (drain beans)

  5. 5

    Simmer for at least an hour and pinto beans are at desired firmness and chilli is thick. Add more beef stock if too thick
