Ingredients

40 minutes
3 people
  • For batter
  • 1 bowlbesan/gram flour
  • Spices
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspCoriander powder
  • 1/4 tspDry mango powder
  • 1/4 tspDry ginger powder
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 pinchbaking soda
  • 1 tspRed chilli paste (optional)
  • as neededWater to make semi flowing batter
  • 1/2 chopped green capsicum
  • 1chopped onion
  • 1/4 tspKasuri methi
  • as neededOil for frying
  • 1/2 tspChaat masala for enhance the taste

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all. Ingredients in besan. Add water in parts to make batter

  2. 2

    Fine Chop onion and capsicum add to the batter. Take 1/4 tsp of ginger garlic paste. Mix everything very well. Leave the batter for 10 - 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Hot the oil in pan for frying make sure oil should be hot at low flame otherwise bitter taste of oil spoil the taste.

  4. 4

    Cut the bread slice into desired shape like circle, square, heart to make more interesting. Dip into the batter and leave in the oil wait for minute to cook from both side.

  5. 5

    After frying hold the pkore for some minutes to release extra oil into pan or you can use absorbing paper. Sprinkle some chaat masala serve with mint chutney and ginger tea.
