Ingredients

  1. 250 gmbhindi
  2. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  3. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  4. 1/2 cuptomato puree
  5. 1medium onion finely chopped
  6. 2green chillies slit
  7. 1/2 tspred Chilli powder
  8. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  10. to taste Salt
  11. 4 tbspoil

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the bhindi into 1 inch pieces. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadhai or wok add bhindi and stir fry them for 5-6 minutes or until changed the color. Transfer them in a plate

    Now add the remaining oil add asafoetida and cumin seeds saute 30 seconds add chopped onion and slit green chillies. Saute till the onion turn golden brown then add ginger garlic paste and saute 30 seconds.

    Now add tomato puree followed by all spices.cook for 2 minutes when oil ooz out add the fried bhindi.mix well.

    Add little water cover and cook on simmer for 6-7 minutes. It has cooked.Turn off the flame.serve with roti or paratha.
