So I decided to try something new and different.kaccahy gosht ki biryani was in my list since long. Finally I cooked it.it is time taking and differnet in taste.usually mutton is cooked with rice.but I tried it first time so I boiled than marinate, mutton. After marination I prefer to half cooked mutton than layer it with rice.et 'try

  1. Marination
  2. 2 kgmutton mix boti
  3. 1-2 tbsdesi ghee
  4. Half cup yogurt
  5. 2 tbs ginger garlic paste
  6. 2 tbschopped green chillies
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 2 tbsred chilli powder
  9. 1 tspturmeric powder
  10. 2 tbsdhaniya powder
  11. 1 cupfried brown onion
  12. 1 tbsgaram masala powder
    Pisa garam masala
  13. 2 tbsLemon juice or white vinegar
  14. 4-5cinnamon stick
  15. 4-5Bay leaves
  16. 4-5 tbsraw papaya paste
    Raw papaya
  17. Rice
  18. 1 kgrice
  19. Salt to taste
  20. 3-4Bay leaves
  21. 7-8green chiilies
  22. 4-5cinnamon sticks
  23. 1 tbswhite cumin
  24. Top layer
  25. 5-6Green chillies
  26. Bunchmint leaves
  27. 1 cupfried brown onions
  28. Yellow food colour
  29. Half tbs crushed nutmeg

    Boil mutton as I used to boil first specailly when I am using qurbani gosht otherwise no need for boiling. marinate mutton with marination ingredients for 7.8 hours or over Night.

    Add spices and desi ghee. put it in refrigerator.

    Soak rice.boil water.add green chillies, salt, cumin,Bay leaves in water.after boiling add soaked rice.when rice are 3/4 th done. strain water.

    Put marinated mutton in a wok start cooking on low flame.Now layer up rice over mutton.

    Add mint leaves, brown onion,green chillies and yellow colour over rice. cook on low flame.

    Sprinkle crushed nutmeg.put on dum. when mutton and rice are soft.turn off the flame

    Served hot with raita
