Ingredients: 1 cup All purpose flour (you can use half of Whole wheat flour too); 1/4 cup Milk powder; 1/4 cup Cornflour; 1/4 cup Orange juice (mix 1 tsp sugar if too sour); 1/2 cup Milk; 1/2 tablespoon Vinegar; 1/4 cup Butter or oil; 1 tsp Baking powder; 1/2 tsp Baking soda; 1/4 cup Tutti fruity dusted with flour; 1/2 cup Powdered sugar; 4-5 drops Orange essence; 1/2 tsp Grated orange zest; 1/2 tsp Chopped candied orange peel (dusted with flour); as required Orange food colour a few drops (optional); as required Parchment paper; 1 tsp Oil to grease tin; 1 tsp flour to dust the tin; as required Orange slices to serve

Ingredients

1 cupAll purpose flour (you can use half of Whole wheat flour too)
Carrot Muffins
1/4 cupMilk powder
1/4 cupCornflour
Christmas star Millet cookies
1/4 cupOrange juice (mix 1 tsp sugar if too sour)
1/2 cupMilk
1/2 tablespoonVinegar
1/4 cupButter or oil
1 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspBaking soda
1/4 cupTutti fruity dusted with flour
1/2 cupPowdered sugar
4-5 dropsOrange essence
1/2 tspGrated orange zest
1/2 tspChopped candied orange peel (dusted with flour)
as requiredOrange food colour a few drops (optional)
as requiredParchment paper
1 tspOil to grease tin
1 tspflour to dust the tin
as requiredOrange slices to serve

First, preheat the oven @175 °, grease a loaf tin with oil, line with butter paper, dust with flour and keep it ready.

Add vinegar to milk and set for 5 minutes till it turns into buttermilk. Then sieve all the dry ingredients in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk/ beat the butter/oil, sugar and buttermilk till fluffy. Then add the essence, colour, orange juice, orange zest and beat again. Then fold in dry ingredients and gently combine without over mixing.

Then fold in tutti fruity and candied orange peel bits. Make the mixture lump free by mixing in only one direction and using cut and fold method. Pour in the prepared tin. Tap 2-3 times. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Then take out, cover with kitchen towel for 15 minutes. Then serve topped with orange slices and your favourite brew! Enjoy!

I made it differently with the sweet fruits from our garden. used curd , instead of curdling the milk. did not use candied peel. Mine is upside down cake.
