Ingredients

30 minutes

  1. For sorghum flatbreads
  2. 1 cupsorghum flour
  3. 1/2 cupwheat flour
  4. 2 cupwater
  5. Taste to salt
  6. 2 tbspoil or ghee
  7. Ghee for spread on roti
  8. For Potato onions sabzi
  9. 2potato
  10. 2onion
  11. 1tomato
  12. 5-6curry leaves
  13. 1 tspmustard cumin seeds
  14. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  15. 1dry red chilli
  16. Taste to salt
  17. 1 tbspred chilli powder
  18. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  19. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  20. as neededWater
  21. 2 tbspchopped coriander

Cooking Instructions

    Take a pan, put on medium flame add water, ghee, salt. When it a boil, add flour, mix well.cover it for 2 minutes then switch off the flame.

    Now let it cool and then knead it well with your hands.

    Now make a ball of it, take one ball and rubb it in plain flour and make a roti. Now place it on a hot pan and flip it after a few seconds.

    When the other side is cooked, flip it again and press it with a cotton cloth to puff up the roti and take it down and apply ghee on it.

    Peel and chop the onion and potato. Now heat the oil in a pan. Once it is hot, add cumin seeds, asafoetida and sweet neem leaves and saute.

    Now add chopped onion and potato, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, mix well and cook.

    Once it is well coated, add coriander powder and tomato, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Then add coriander and switch off the flame.

    So Sorghum Flat Bread with Potato Onion Sabji is ready to serve.
