Ingredients

20 Minutes
1serve
  1. 1/2 cupSoaked and par boiled Basmati rice
  2. 1 tspCumin Seeds
  3. 1 tspFenugreek Seeds
  4. 1 tspUrad Dal seeds
  5. 1green chilli chopped
  6. 1 inchgrated ginger
  7. 1-2bay leaf
  8. 1dry red chilli
  9. 1/4 tspAsafoetida
  10. 8-10Cashews
  11. 1 tspRaisins
  12. leavesSome Coriander
  13. Ghee for Roasting each Spices plus Rice
  14. Salt to taste
  15. 2Cinnamon Sticks
  16. 1-2Cloves
  17. 5-7Black pepper corns or balls

Cooking Instructions

20 Minutes

    Wash Soak and Par boil the Basmati Rice by adding salt and keep a side

  2. 2

    Next keep all the ingredients ready

  3. 3

    Now heat the kadhai and add Ghee for Roasting everything,First of all we will add 2 tbsp Ghee and start Roasting one by one,Crackle Asafoetida and then all spices stir fry for a few seconds.

    One by one each,Nuts and Raisins too

  5. 5

    Stir fry everything till the colour comes golden brown and then add the Cooked Rice

  6. 6

    Lastly add Chopped Spring Onion and Coriander leaves and give them nice mix

    Delicious and Flavourful Rice is Ready to Serve with Tangy and Spicy Cherry 🍒 Tomato Rasam 😋
