Moonglet (healthy breakfast)

Ingredients

  1. 200 gramsyellow moong dal
  2. 1medium size onion chopped
  3. Salt,
  4. turmeric,
  5. Oil as required
  6. 1 medium size tomato chopped
  7. 1 carrot grated
  8. Coriander leaves chopped
  9. 3 green chilles chopped

Cooking Instructions

    Soak moong dal for 3 hours. Drain excess water.

    Grind coarsely.

  3. 3

    Take a mixing bowl. Add dal, green chilles, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, tomato, grated carrot, salt turmeric powder and mixed well.

    Add pinch of fruit salt and activate it.

    Heat a mini uttapam pan add little oil in the cavity. Add 1 tablespoon moong flour in each cavity. Cover and cook moonglet till crispy and brown from both sides.

    Serve hot with any chutney or sauce.
