In a mixing bowl, blend the wet ingredients, namely sugar, oil/butter, yogurt and vanilla essence.
In another bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Gradually add the wet ingredients into the flour mixture and gently mix until well blended. Make sure the batter is slightly flowy like pancake batter.
Grease the sandwich maker, gently pour about a tablespoon of batter and spread into the mould.
