Ingredients

2-3 minutes per side
4 servings
  • 1.5 LBSjumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 5 TBSasian dark sesame oil
  • 3 TBSrice wine, sake, or dry sherry
  • 3 TBSsoy sauce
  • 1.5 TBShoney
  • 1.5 TBSsesame seeds
  • 1 TBSthai sweet chili sauce
  • 1/2 TSPchinese 5 spice powder
  • 2 clovescrushed garlic
  • 2 slicesfresh ginger
  • 2scallions finely chopped for garnish

Steps

2-3 minutes per side
  1. 1

    Rinse and dry shrimp

  2. 2

    Combine all ingredients - whisk together

  3. 3

    Put shrimp in marinade - let sit for 1 hour

  4. 4

    Cook on hot oiled grill until browned - 2-3 minutes per side
