Bread Machine Baked White Wine Bread with Walnuts and Raisins Bread Machine Baked White Wine Bread with Walnuts and Raisins
After making "Red Wine Bread With Walnuts and Cream Cheese - Made in a Bread Machine", I came up with a white wine version.I recommend letting the raisins soak overnight in white wine.Once they rehydrate, the total amount of wine should be 180 ml by adding the wine from soaking to the 150 ml white wine.I had some malt on hand, so used it in the recipe, but it's fine not to include any.Cheap wine or leftover wine is fine. Fig Soda Bread Fig Soda Bread
I found this soda bread recipe when I wanted to make bread but was feeling too lazy to let the dough rise.Since I love figs, I used semi-dried figs this time, but nuts or any other dried fruits should taste good also. When you add the milk and yogurt, add about 30 ml each time and check the consistency, instead of adding it all at once. If the dough seems too wet, dust it with some flour to hold it together. Cold bread will be tasty again if you reheat it in the microwave. Recipe by ayaico cookpad.japan -

Dark Bread Dark Bread
A savory dark bread we used dipping into our chili. If you use vinegar in this recipe remember it's acidic. Acid counters yeast and hinder it's rising, but it also counters gluten and breaks it down and cause it to become very sticky and a bit harder to work with. It's a welcomed flavour to this bread. A couple of tablespoons of vinegar about 3% acidity would be nice. skunkmonkey101 -
