Randhan Chath is a special food making festival in Gujarat. On this auspicious day food is made to eat on next day SATAM. Mostly at every home some recipes are commonly found.
Steps

Bajra vada - Mix bajra and wheat flour. Add salt, turmeric and red chilli powder. Add garlic chilli paste, asaefotida, sugar, carom and sesame seeds. Add curd and mix nicely. Rest it for half hour. Make small vada, apply sesame and fry in hot oil.

Khatta vada - Mix all flours of khatta vada. Add curd, garlic chilli paste, salt, turmeric and chilli powder. Add asafoetida. Add water if required and make thick consistence batter. Optional sugar can be added. Fry vada in hot oil on medium flame.

Bhavnagri marcha - Wash bhavnagri chilli. Make slit on one side. Take 1/2 cup roasted besan and add routine masala. Add sugar and Aam chur powder. Add oil and mix it. Stuff it in chilli and cook on slow flame. Spray 1-2 tbsp water in between to cook nicely.

Bharwa bhindi - 2 tbsp peanuts and 1 tsp sesame seeds into coarse powder. Add 2 tbsp roasted besan to it. Add routine masala and stuff into bhindi. Cook until done on slow flame.

Khatta chana - Mix 2 tbsp besan in curd. Add routine spices and water. Mix well. In a pan take 1 tbsp oil, add mustard, cumin and asafoetida. Add garlic chilli paste. Saute it for a while. Add curd mix. Add boiled chana and garam masala. Cook it for 2-3 minutes.

Ghes - wash rice and rest it for 30 minutes. Add 3 cups of water and 1 cup of buttermilk. This has to be cooked and mixed thoroughly.

Basundi - boil two litres of milk in a pan. Boil it till half. Add sugar and cook until bit thicker consistency. Add Saffron, cardamom powder and roasted nuts. Basundi is ready to serve.

Puri - add salt and oil to flour. Add water and knead dough. Rest it for a while. Roll into nice Puris. Fry it in hot oil.
