Yesss..it is in gavai style...and it's really very rich in taste with goodness of rajma and all spices. Here i used thanda masala which is something different in taste and good for health. I also serve tomato kucchumer with this rajma rice.

Ingredients

30 minutes
3-4 servings
  • 250 grmRajma (soaked and boiled)
  • 4 medium sizeOnion medium size
  • 1" Ginger
  • 1 small podGarlic
  • 2 pinchhing/ asafoetida
  • 2Dry red chilli
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tea spoonCumin seeds
  • 2 table spoonGreen Coriander
  • 2Green chilli
  • 3 medium sizeTomato
  • 1 inchRaw turmeric
  • as neededWhole dry spices - dry roasted and grind on grind stone
  • 2 tea spoonCoriander powder
  • 1 tea spoonTurmeric powder
  • 2 table spoonMustard oil

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Stain boil rajma water and keep it aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare your masala (raw turmeric, ginger, garlic, green chilli, onion) by using grind stone.

  3. 3

    Cut tomato very nicely.

  4. 4

    Chopped 1 onion nicely.

  5. 5

    Now heat mustured oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, hing,and dry red chilli firstly.

  6. 6

    When it get cracker, add chopped onion. When it turnes light pink add masala which you prepare by using grind stone

  7. 7

    Add turmeric powder, Coriander powder and some salt. Add tomato.When masala cooked properly. And oil get removed from masala then add boil rajma.

    Mix all rajma very nicely with masala. Mash some rajma by using kalchi.

  9. 9

    Add dry roasted whole garam masala. Cook for 5 min. Add boil rajma stain water and mix in proper way.

  10. 10

    You can cook this rajma in kadhai or you can use pressure cooker..as your prefrence.

    When it get ready add some green Coriander leaf.

  12. 12

    Enjoy this rajma with paratha, rice and tomato kucchumer.
