Five types of different lentils,cooked together. Nutritious and delicious Dal served as side dish.
Steps

Wash all dals in cooker container with water thrice and add enough water, pressure cook for 4 whistles.

In kadhai,add cooked dals mixture,add turmeric powder red chilli powder,dhaniya- cumin powder, garam masala,dry mango powder and salt.Add jaggery also. Mix and cook for 2 mins.

In small tempering pan heat ghee,add cumin seeds, whole red chillies, cinnamon stick,cloves, asafoetida as it splutters pour on cooking dal mixture.

Cook for 2 minutes. Serve/ relish hot with parathas,wheat bhakhris in lunch or dinner.
