Soak the wheat for 18 to 24 hours and boil it in a pressure cooker until 12 whistles.

Coarsely grind the boiled wheat either in mixer or hand blender. As it contains more fibres you may face problem while grinding it. Add some amount of water or milk while grinding. Keep other ingredients ready. Chop the almonds.

To the ground wheat add milk and condensed milk and let it simmer over medium low flame.

In a pan heat ghee and slightly roast the almonds. When the kheer thickens. Finally pour the ghee over it and add cardamom powder. You can also use saffron and other dry fruits.
