Ingredients

4-Servings
  • 1-Cup soaked Nauru (Millet)
  • 3/4-Cup grated jaggery
  • 1/4-Cup grated fresh coconut
  • 1/4-Cup chopped cashew & Almond
  • 2-tbsp raisins
  • 1-tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1/4-Cup Ghee
  • 3-cup water
  • 1-tsp elaichi powder / cardamom
  • as neededCashew & Almond for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat ghee in a pan and roast whole night soaked millet for 5 minutes add raisins,Cashew & Almond cook for a while and add water & cook till millet softens

    Add jaggery & coconut cook till it thickens add poppy seeds and little ghee and turn off gas and lastly add elaichi powder and mix well

    Fill ready lapsi in a bowl & unmould in a serving plate and garnish with almond & cashew nuts.very tasty & Very Healthy.
