Ingredients

  1. 500 gramsspinach leaves
  2. 150 gramsgram flour/ besan
  3. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  4. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  5. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1small tomato chopped
  8. Paste of 1 inch ginger & 1 green chilli
  9. As neededOil to pan fry
  10. as neededWater
  11. 8-10roasted peanuts chopped (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse the spinach leaves well under running water

  2. 2

    Slice them fine and add them to a mixing bowl

  3. 3

    Add rest if he ingredients besides water

  4. 4

    Mix well and then add just enough water to create a medium thick batter

  5. 5

    Heat a pan and drizzle some oil

  6. 6

    Pour a laddleful of the batter on to the center of the pan and spread slightly

  7. 7

    Cook on Low flame till one side is down and flip over to cook the other

  8. 8

    Take off heat once done

  9. 9

    Serve hot with accompaniment of your choice
