Ingredients

  1. 4-5 piecesfrozen egg rolls
  2. 1 pieceVietnamese pork sausage (giò lụa)
  3. 1Chinese sausage (lap cheong)
  4. Roasted peanuts
  5. Chopped chili and garlic
  6. Lime
  7. Mixed fresh herbs (such as cilantro, mint, and Thai basil)
  8. Thin rice vermicelli noodles (bún)
  9. Fish sauce
  10. Sugar

Steps

    Wash the herbs thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Fry the egg rolls and Chinese sausage until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Cut the egg rolls and Chinese sausage into bite-sized pieces.

  4. 4

    Make the dipping sauce: Combine fish sauce and sugar, squeeze in the juice of 1 lime wedge, adjust to taste, then add the chopped chili and garlic.

  5. 5

    To serve: Place the rice noodles on a plate, arrange the toppings on top, and serve with the prepared dipping sauce on the side.
