Chicken & Veg Stir Fry with Oyster Garlic Sriracha Sauce Chicken & Veg Stir Fry with Oyster Garlic Sriracha Sauce
A quick and easy stir fry for a weeknight meal. Add cashews or peanuts, and it's practically Kung Pao. :)If you're going to have steamed rice, best to get it going before you start the stir fry. x -
Super Easy & Inexpensive (Spaghetti) Vegetable Chow Mein Super Easy & Inexpensive (Spaghetti) Vegetable Chow Mein
As with any stir fry, you can use whatever veg you like - roughly 2 cups' worth. I just used onion, celery and carrot because that's what I had on hand, but they also happen to be some of the most accessible and inexpensive veg most of us can buy.If you've never bought oyster sauce before and don't have an Asian market nearby, you can probably find it in the Asian section of your local big box grocer (including Walmart), Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Cost Plus (World Market), and, of course, online. If you're wary of trying oyster sauce because you hate oysters, I can assure you it doesn't taste much like oysters at all, and it's a quite delicious and versatile condiment that adds a deep, ever so slightly smoky, somewhat soy sauce like saltiness to your dishes.Whether you use the traditional or cold, shallow water start method of boiling pasta, I suggest starting that step before you prep your veg so you can work more efficiently. Of course you have to be mindful to watch the pasta and take it off the heat before it gets overcooked, but since this dish mimics chow mein, and chow mein is a a softer kind of noodle, you have a little leeway. x -
Duck egg curry Duck egg curry
Duck eggs are somewhat more delicious than hen eggs because of their larger yolk, and creamier, soft texture. Try cooking this duck egg blended with spices you will definitely feel the pleasure. Asian Delicasy -

California Farm Fruit Pizza California Farm Fruit Pizza
An enormous 16” diameter fruit pizza, or half size at 13”, baked on a shallow 16” diameter aluminum party tray, ( make sure the party tray is not coated with plastic) served cut into eight slices. The 13” pizza is baked on a pizza stone and cut in four. Instead of cheese on the crust, you use whipped cream mixed with boiled fruit. If you want a cover on top, you can make strips of the dough and weave a pattern, or use the plastic handy- dandy raster cutter shown below, a few dollars on AliBaba website. Hobby Horseman -
