First pour 1tbsp oil to the pan and then add to that jeera 1 tsp and then add 5 nos.if garlic cloves mashed and then fry till it turns to little golden brown colour and then add 1 finely chopped onion to the same...

Now next when the onion colour becomes translucent means becomes little pinkish in colour at that stage you need to add 2 finely chopped tomatoes to that u need to add some salt as per taste turmeric powder 1 tsp and red chilli powder 1 tsp and then u need to mix all the ingredients very well till the tomato gets mashed very well and it leaves the oil out.

Now the last step when the oil comes out then at this stage add the boiled moong dal and add some water to the moong dal if needed and mix it very well and bring it to a boil after the dal boils very well for 5 mins then to it add the tadka.

Now take a tadka pan to it add 1 tbsp oil and to that add 1tsp cumin seeds and then add the rest mashed garlic to it and fry it till it becomes golden brown colour and after that u should add red chilli powder to it and dry mango powder and garam masala and mix it all and add little water and pour it over the dal and mix it and add some chopped garlic and 1 dry red chilli your dal tadka is ready for serving.
