Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupyellow moong dal
  2. 1 tbspghee
  3. 1dry chilli
  4. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  5. 1/2 tsp.asafoetida
  6. 1 tspginger
  7. 1/4 tspmustard seeds
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. 1 tsp.green Chilli
  10. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  11. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  12. 1 tspCorriender leaves
  13. 4-5 Curry leaves
  14. 1 tspKasoori methi

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak yellow moong dal for 1/2hr.

    Heat ghee in cooker add mustard seeds cumin seeds curry patta saute add finely chopped green chilli finely chopped ginger mix well. Crushed kasuri methi and add saute for a min. And add dal turmeric powder salt mix well and add water bringit to boil. Cover the lid and make 2-3whistle.Open and transfer in a serving bowl.

    Now for Tadka:- heat ghee adddry red chilli and redchilli powder asofoetida saute and add 2tbsp. Water mix and pour on dal. Garnish with corriender serve with masala puri. Tasty healthy dal is ready to serve.
