Ingredients

15 minutes
2 (4 paratha)
  1. For making dough
  2. 1 bowljowar flour
  3. 1/2 bowlwheat flour
  4. 1 bowlwashed and chopped methi (fenugreek leaves)
  5. 1onion
  6. 1Boiled potato
  7. 2chopped green chilli
  8. 1 inch grated ginger
  9. to taste salt
  10. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  11. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  12. 1/4 tspcumin seeds powder
  13. 1/4 tspcarrom seeds
  14. as neededWater
  15. Others
  16. as neededCooking Oil for shallow fry as required
  17. 4 tspButter for serving

Cooking Instructions

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients for making dough. Add chopped methi, mashed boiled potatoes, green chilli, ginger and chopped onions.

    Knead a soft dough by adding water slowly. Rest for 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Knead dough again for 1 minute. Take a small portion of dough and make a ball. Roll it with the help of rolling pin like a chapati.

    Heat a griddle and place the rolled paratha over it and roast on medium flame for 1 minute. Flip the side and roast from other side also. Now apply cooking oil on both sides and shallow fry till crispie golden brown colour.

    Serve hot with butter and ginger tea.
