Ingredients

  1. 1 lbground turkey
  2. 1medium white onion
  3. 4garlic cloves minced
  4. 1 tbspolive oil
  5. 1-2 (8 oz)can tomato sauce
  6. 2(14.5) ounce can chicken broth
  7. 1 cupwater
  8. 1 (15 oz)can diced tomatoes
  9. 2 tspsugar (optional)
  10. 1 1/2 tspdried basil
  11. 1 tspdried oregano
  12. 1/2 tspdried thyme
  13. 1/2 tspdried marjoram
  14. Salt and pepper to taste
  15. 1 cupelbow noodles or noodles of your choice
  16. 1 (15 oz)can great northern beans, drained and rinsed
  17. 1 (15 oz)can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  18. Parmesan and parsley for topping

Cooking Instructions

    Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat, add ground turkey and break up meat and cook, stirring occasionally until cooked through. Add onions and saute for about 3 minutes. Then add garlic and saute for another 2 minutes.

    Add noodles, chicken broth, tomato sauce, water, canned tomatoes, sugar, basil, oregano, thyme, marjoram and cooked beef then season with salt and pepper to taste

    Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium-low, don't cover with lid and allow to simmer, stirring occasionally, until veggies are soft, about 15-20 minutes. Add a little more water if desired. Top with parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
