Ingredients

25-30 minutes
6-7 servings
  1. 11/4 litrefull fat Milk
  2. 4grated Red Carrots
  3. 2-3crushed Green Cardamoms
  4. 1/2 cupSugar
  5. 2-3 tbspchopped Almonds
  6. 2-3 tbspchopped Pistachios
  7. 1 tbspMalai or fresh Cream
  8. 2-3 tbspcrumbled Mawa or Khoya (optional)

Cooking Instructions

25-30 minutes
  1. 1

Bring Milk to a rolling boil on a high heat. After it starts boiling, lower the heat and allow it to simmer. Blend the Rice to a thin slurry by adding a little Milk. Add this slurry to the simmering Milk by continuously stirring it until it gets incorporated into it. Cook on a low heat for about 15 minutes. Also add crushed Cardamoms without fail.

  2. 2

Add the shredded Carrots to the simmering Milk. Let that cook for a further 15 more minutes.

  3. 3

After the Carrots and the Rice mix is cooked well, add in Sugar and Amul Fresh Cream. Mix well. Keep stirring in between so that it doesn't stick to the bottom. After the desired consistency is achieved, add half of the slivered mixed Nuts.

  4. 4

Refrigerate it for an hour or two if you want to serve it chilled. Otherwise it can be served immediately with the other half of the slivered mixed Nuts sprinkled on top. Also top it with Khoya or Mawa if desired. It tastes heavenly. Enjoy!
