Almond-Jaggery Puran Poli
Cooking Instructions

Rinse and soak channa dal for 4 hours. Pressure cook for 4 whistles.

Discard extra water from boiled chana dal. Transfer it in mixer jar. Add jaggery powder and grind to smooth paste.

In cooking pan add heat ghee. Do tempering of cinnamon powder.

Add cooked dal, jaggery paste. Saute on medium flame till thickened.

Add almonds powder, cardamom and nutmeg powder. Mix well. Cool the stuffing mixture. Make equal 4 portions.

In mixing bowl add wheat flour,salt, oil moin, mix and add little little water and bind into soft dough. Divide into 4 equal flattened balls. Roll each into round roti.

Place one portion of channa dal jaggery stuffing in center. Collect edges and seal at centre. Roll again with dry flour into thick round roti.

Place it on hot griddle.
Dry roast prepared stuffed sweetener parathas on both sides till crispy golden.
Similarly prepare all Almond Jaggery Puranpolis.
Pour hot melting ghee or dipit in hot ghee before serving. - 9
Serve Relish Delicious Hot Jaggery Puranpoli in meals.
