Cooking Instructions

Mix melted ghee with all-purpose flour and rub with your palms.

Break the khoya into small pieces and fry till pinkish in color. Let it cool down and then add grated coconut chironji raisins sugar saffron and cardamom powder mix well. Mix and put water in a bowl.

Knead the dough for a minute. Divide it into small pieces. keep the rolled discs in a plate covered with damp cloth.

While rolling the dough keep the remaining dough covered then make small loaves from the flour and knead it like a puri.add in stuffing and make gujiya / ghughra as shown. Do the same with rest of the dough.now heat ghee and fry the all ghughra in it low heat.

Now your delicious sweet gujiya is ready to serve.
