Cooking Instructions

Take the ingredients in the measuring cup

Take fresh moringa leaves for this powder. Remove the leaves from the stem and rinse it and drain the water. Spread the leaves in a clean cloth and dry it inside the house (under the fan) for 30 minutes

Now the leaves are dried well

Dry roast the peanuts into crisp
- 5
Dry roast the chana dal into golden brown colour
- 6
Dry roast the urad dal into golden brown colour

Dry roast sesame seeds into golden brown colour

Dry roast the cumin for few seconds

Dry roast the coriander seeds till a nice aroma comes

Dry roast the tamarind, salt and red chilli for a minute

Turn off the stove and fry the hing for few seconds

Transfer all the roasted ingredients into a plate. Let them cool
- 13
First grind the dried moringa leaves into fine powder and transfer into a wide bowl. Then grind all the roasted ingredients into fine powder and transfer this powder to the moringa leaves powder.

Mix both the powders well

Store the powder in an airtight container. Keep it in fridge. It will good for one month. Add this powder to hot rice and ghee. Serve this powder with sesame oil with idli and dosa
