Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprice
  2. 1/2 cupmoong daal
  3. 2tsp salt(as per taste)
  4. 2tsp chilli powder
  5. 1tsp turmeric powder
  6. 4 cups water
  7. 1 cup chopped vegetable like carrot, French beans, peas, cabbage etc
  8. 4 tsp ghee
  9. 1/2tsp asafoetida
  10. 1 tsp cumin seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak rice and daal for 20 minutes

    Chopped all vegetable you like

    In a cooker add ghee asafoetida,cumin seeds let them crackle

  4. 4

    Add vegetables and sauté for 2,4 minutes add salt chilli powder turmeric powder,

    Add rice and daal cook 2 minutes

  6. 6

    Add boil water and mix well and cook with 2,3 whistle in low flame.

  7. 7

    When steam cool out open cooker and mix well and serve khichdi with dah chutney,Gatta sabji papad gheei, you may add Spinach too
