Ingredients

  1. For Thecha -
  2. 8-9garlic cloves
  3. 4-5green chilies
  4. 1 tspcumin seeds
  5. 3 tbsppeanuts
  6. 1 tspoil
  7. 1 cupfresh coriander leaves with stems
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1 tbsplemon juice
  10. 200 gmpaneer cut into thick cubes
  11. 1 tbspoil for paneer frying

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a kadai add garlic cloves, peanuts, cumin seeds and green chilies, fry them on low heat for 2 about minutes until fragrant. Turn off the flame and let it cool slightly.

    Once cooled, add into the grinder jar and coarsly crush the mixture, in pulse mood, now add fresh coriander leaves and continue crushing until it forms a rough paste.

    Transfer into a plate add salt, lemon juice, mix it properly, keep aside. Now evenly coat each paneer piece with the prepared thecha mixture, ensuring every side is well covered.

    Heat oil in a pan on low heat. Place the coated paneer cubes in the pan and fry until golden brown on four sides, remove from heat.

    Maharashtrian style Paneer Thecha is ready.
