Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1 packagesground turkey. approx 1.25 lbs
  2. 3/4 cupbread crumbs
  3. 1 tbspOregano
  4. 1 tbspRosemary
  5. 8 dash6-8 dashes hot sauce
  6. 1/2 largeonion, diced
  7. 3 clovegarlic, minced
  8. 1salt & pepper
  9. 1Olive oil
  10. 3 clovegarlic, minced
  11. 1/2 largeonion, diced
  12. 2 can28 oz Muir Glen Organic Chunky Tomato Sauce
  13. 1Oregano
  14. 1Rosemary
  15. 1/2 cupRomano cheese
  16. 8fresh basil leaves
  17. 1 dashsweet vermouth
  18. 2eggs

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix up the turkey, eggs, bread crumbs, oregano, rosemary, hot sauce, onion garlic, salt & pepper. Form into approximately 24 meatballs.

    Place on a sheet pan coated with non-stick spray.

    Bake at 400° for 12 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and cook for another 15 minutes.

    For the sauce - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  5. 5

    saute the garlic and onions until translucent.

  6. 6

    Add the tomato sauce, oregano, rosemary, cheese, Basil and sweet vermouth.

  7. 7

    Let it simmer until the meatballs are done.

  8. 8

    Add the meatballs and let it simmer some more.
