I love donuts but I dint eat fried food, so I was looking for a good and easy recipe and I found this one. Now it's mine cause its so easy to make that Im just thankful I found it. :)

I do not like doughnuts.I just wanted to put that out there right off the bat. In no way do I like doughnuts. They do nothing for me. To me, they are greasy and very heavy.That is, until I tried Apple Cider Doughnuts and doughnuts from Doughnut Plant on West 23rd Street in the New York City. The doughnuts there are a work of art. I highly recommend them.Recently, someone suggested to me that I should try baked doughnuts. Supposedly, they are not greasy and heavy, since they are not fried. As usual, I picked and chose ingredients from different recipes to make them the way that I like them, since I am so picky.My wonderful & beautiful wife and I bought some doughnut pans and came up with this recipe. At first, I was skeptical if I would like them, but I really do like them. They are so good.As my wife suggested, this recipe is a great starting point. We can use this as our basis and go from there. I hope that you enjoy them as much as we do.These doughnuts make a dozen 4 inch doughnuts.Enjoy!
