Easy and simple plain scone. I fold the dough up several times, so they are well risen! Also recommended for breakfast! Please be careful not to melt the butter. If the dough becomes soft on the way, please cool it once. Fumie's Recipe -

I was given this recipe for Old Fashions Tea Cakes some 33+ years ago, from my neighbors mom. She had MANY children, and this recipe makes MANY cookies. I usually roll out the dough for cut-out cookies to bake and frost. But for Valentines Day, I wanted something different. Sonya Bankester -

Tea Cakes Tea Cakes
I received this recipe years ago from an elderly lady (98 years old) of 12 children. She had 4 sets of twins. She was a gentle soul and loved to cook and feed people. I met her at a birthday party for one of her great grands, we got to talking about baking and I told her about a cookie that my great granny used to make, but no one knew the recipe. A few days later, she sent her daughter to deliver THE COOKIE recipe, she called them TEA CAKES. This is my go-to recipe for rollout cookies. It makes ALOT! #ChristmasGift Sonya Bankester -
Five Cup Tea Loaf Five Cup Tea Loaf
I adapted a recipe from the Hairy Bikers 'Mums Know Best' collection. I have tried using corn flakes in the hope that any cereal is good to use here, though obviously the sweeter it is, the less sugar you should add. I also omit the step of soaking everything for hours... Celeste
