Ingredients

  1. 4-5 piecesIlish fish
  2. 2 cuptaro (cleaned and chopped in medium sizes)
  3. 2 tablespoonchopped onions
  4. 3-4 piecesgreen chillies
  5. 1 teaspoontermeric powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoonginger-garlic paste
  7. 2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  8. 1/2 teaspooncoriender powder
  9. Salt as required by you
  10. Mustard Oil for frying
  11. Water 2.5 cups or as required

Cooking Instructions

    Clean and Cut the fish and taro with medium pieces and wash them throughly with water.Drain them and keep them aside.

    Mix some salt and termeric powder with the pieces of Ilish and fry them on frypan with mustard oil.

    After frying the fish stop the stove immediately.Now in another frypan,put some oil and heat it.Put chopped onions, green chillies and salt as required and fry untill onions become lite brown color.

    Now put the cleaned chopped taro into it and put termeric powder,red chilli powder, coriender powder and ginger garlic paste into it and stir them in a medium flame.

    Now put 2.5 cup water and cover the pan.when it's 80% cooked, put pieces of fried Ilish and 2-3 green chillies into it and cook properly.

    Taro and Ilish curry is ready to serve.enjoy.
