Ingredients

  1. 2 kgcarrots
  2. 1 bowlsugar
  3. 2 tbsp pure ghee
  4. 1/2 bowlmawa
  5. 1/4 bowldessicated coconut
  6. 1/4 bowlmilk powder
  7. 8-10cashew nuts
  8. 8-10almonds
  9. 10-12pistachio
  10. 10-12raisins
  11. 2 tbspoon melon seeds
  12. 4walnuts
  13. 1/2 tspGreen cardamom powder

Cooking Instructions

    Wash peel and chop carrots roughly.

    Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add almonds and fry for 2 minutes. Add cashew nuts and walnuts and roast it on low flame for 1 minute and remove it in a plate.

    Cut fried cashew and almonds in two halves. Add melon seeds and raisins and keep aside. Chop mawa roughly.

    Now in the same pressure cooker add 1 tb spoon ghee and add chopped carrots and pressure cook till 2 whistles and switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically. Open the lid.

    Now mash carrots with a ladle and cook on low flame till water evaporates. Add sugar and cook till it dissolves and mixes well with carrots.

    Now add milk powder, mawa, cardamom powder and dessicated coconut and mix and cook for 5 minutes.

    Add all dry fruits and mix and cook till it turns thick. It may take 5 minutes.

    Serve hot garnished with chopped dry fruits.
