Ingredients

30 minutes
4 people
  1. For the stuffing
  2. 1 tbspolive oil
  3. 1medium onion chopped
  4. 2 tbspginger garlic paste
  5. 1/2 cupbroccoli florets
  6. 1/2 cupbell peppers
  7. 1/4 cupsliced cabbage
  8. 1/4 cupsliced leek
  9. 1 tbspWorcestershire sauce
  10. 1/4 tspcrushed black pepper
  11. 1/2 tspsalt or to taste
  12. For the wrap sheets
  13. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  14. 1 tbspoil
  15. 1 tspsalt or to taste

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

To begin, prepare the dough for the wraps. Take all-purpose flour in a large bowl. Add in 1 tbsp of oil and salt to taste. Mix well until it is bread crumb consistency. Knead it into a soft dough using water. Keep aside to rest for 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

Shape the dough into pairs of small balls. Take a pair and roll them out around 3-4 inches in diameter. Generously spread oil and dust with a bit of dry flour. Place them on top of each other with the oil side on the inside and seal the edges by gently pressing them down. Roll out as thinly as possible.

  3. 3

Heat a tawa or a griddle. Place the roti and cook on medium heat until bubbles appear on both sides. Remove to a plate and gently separate the two layers. If it is well oiled and dusted, it would be easy to separate them.

  4. 4

For the stuffing, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan. Add the chopped onions. Once they turn translucent, add the ginger garlic paste. Cook for a minute.

  5. 5

Add chopped brocolli and bell peppers. Saute the vegetables but do not overcook them. They should be crunchy. Finally, add the cabbage and sliced leeks and mix well. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Turn off the heat and keep aside.

  6. 6

To assemble the wraps, place the wrap sheet on a flat surface. Add 2-3 tbsp of the stuffing and roll it up tightly. Similarly, prepare the other wraps. Grill and serve hot.
