Mix veg Rava idli with sambhar and chutney

Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsuji or Rawa
  2. 1 Cupcurd
  3. 1 tspsalt
  4. 1-4 tspbaking soda
  5. 1 tspsugar
  6. 1 tbspoil
  7. 1/2 cupfinely chopped veggies (onions, cabbage, carrot, green chilli)
  8. 1-2 tspeno
  9. For sambhar:
  10. 1 cuparhar daal
  11. 1-4 tspturmeric powder
  12. 1green chilli
  13. 2-3tomato
  14. to tasteSalt pepper
  15. 1 tbspsambhar masala
  16. 1finely chopped onion
  17. 1 tbsptamarind water
  18. 1 tspJeera and rai
  19. 4-5Meethi neem
  20. 1 tbspoil
  21. For garlic red chutney;
  22. 1 tspChana daal
  23. 1 tspwhite urad dal
  24. 7-8garlic cloves
  25. 1green chilli
  26. 1finely chopped onion
  27. 1/2 tspJeera and rai
  28. 1-2dry red chilli
  29. to tasteSalt, pepper, haldi and dhania powder
  30. 4-5Meethi neem

Cooking Instructions

    First take a bowl add rawa curd, oil, sugar, salt, baking soda and mix well to make a thick mix add water if required. Keep it aside for some time. Before pouring in the idli stands add 1-2 tsp eno to the mixture

    Divide the mixture in two parts. One for plain idli s and In the second part mix chopped veggies and red chilli powder. Heat the idli cooker pour one glass water in it Grease the idli stands and pour idli mixture in it. Put these stands in the idli cooker. Cover it and steam the idlis for 15-20 minutes make all the idlis by repeating the same process.

    Sambhar: Boil arhar daal with turmeric powder and 4 glass water for 15 minutes.

    Take a pan heat oil put jeera, rai and curry patta, hing. When jeera, rai splutter add onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes. After the onion change in colour pour tomato paste. Sauté again and add green chilli and dry masalas and sambhar masala to it. Mix well and cook until the oil leaves the pan. Add this tadka to arhar daal and boil for few minutes. Add temarind water to give it a little tangy taste. Sambhar is ready

    Red chutney: take a pan heat oil and add rai dry red chilli jeera, curry patta, hing and splutter them add soaked daals and stir well add onions and garlic. Sauté well. Add dry masalas and cook for 5 minutes. You can also add 1/2 tbsp curd to it. When oil comes out then turn off the flame. Churn this mixture in a mixer to make a fine paste. Your red chutney is also ready
