Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsall purpose Flour (500g)
  2. 4 tbspsugar
  3. 11 gyeast
  4. Halftablespoon cardamon powder
  5. 50 gMargarine
  6. 1 cupwarm milk (250g)
  7. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the yeast in the warm milk and let it proof

    Mix all the other ingredients- flour, sugar, cardamon powder and Margarine and add the milk yeast mixture

  3. 3

    Knead until smooth and then place in an oiled bowl and cover until it doubles in size, about 30 minutes

    Divide the dough into 10 pieces and roll into small round circles, diameter about the size of your hand

  5. 5

    Cut into 4 and heat oil in medium heat

  6. 6

    Deep fry a few at a time and avoid crowding

  7. 7

    Serve with some tea
