Have your local spices handy. You never know when you will have to whip up a meal. (or when your gas will finish mid-cooking) 😂

Ingredients

  1. 1mudu dried abacha(soak in cold water for 10-15 mins and drain)
  2. 1/4 cuppalm oil
  3. 2 tsplocal abacha spice (watch this space for how to make this)
  4. 2-4fresh peppers
  5. 1 cubemaggi
  6. 2 tbsppowdered crayfish
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. Akanwu (totally optional. I didn't use it in this recipe)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Pound your peppers in a mortar (you can blend too)

  2. 2

    Add the spices, maggi, crayfish and salt in no particular order

  3. 3

    Add the palm oil and mix well

  4. 4

    Add your properly drained abacha to the mixture and stir until well incorporated.

  5. 5

    Serve and garnish with any vegetable and/or protein of choice
