Ingredients

3 porções
  1. Spices
  2. 1Tbsp cumin seeds
  3. 1.5tsp turmeric powder
  4. 1.5tsp garam masala powder
  5. 1tsp salt
  6. Cooking
  7. 2large handfuls of spinach
  8. 2cups paneer
  9. 2tomatoes, chopped
  10. 2cups onions, minced
  11. 0.5green chill, seeded
  12. 3tsp garlic paste
  13. 3Tbsp ghee
  14. 1Tbsp vegetable oil
  15. 1Tbsp butter
  16. 2Tbsp cream

Cooking Instructions

    Blanche spinach in boiling water for 1 minute, blend to fine purée immediately. Set aside

    Heat ghee and oil in a pan, lightly sauté the cumin seeds.

    Add the onions and chilies and sauté until golden (5 mins medium heat).

    Add the garlic paste, stir for 30 secs.

  5. 5

    Add the turmeric powder, garam masala and fry for 30 secs.

    Add the tomatoes, reduce the heat and simmer for 6-7 mins.

    Add the spinach purée and adjust thickness with water.

  8. 8

    Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

    Add the paneer to the gravy, stir and serve.
