Ingredients

  1. 2 tspolive oil
  2. 1 tspsalt
  3. 1/4 tspblack pepper
  4. 2 lbsground beef
  5. 1onion minced2
  6. 2 tspminced garlic
  7. 1 headcabbage coursely chopped
  8. 2carrots diced
  9. 4 cupsbeef broth
  10. 1-16 ozcan tomato sauce
  11. 1-8 ozcan tomato paste
  12. 1-16 ozcan diced tomatos
  13. 1bay leaf
  14. 3 tblsbrown sugar
  15. 2 tblsparsley

Cooking Instructions

45 minutes

    Heat olive oil in pan

    Add ground beef and brown it. Drain excess fat

  3. 3

    Add onions, garlic and carrots. Cook 5 minutes help soften

  4. 4

    Add beef broth. tomato sauce, dice tomatos, tomato paste, bay leaf, brown sugar and cabbage. (If you want rice add here

    Cook for 30 minutes

  6. 6

    Add parsley and serve
